After extensive on-water testing, Stephen Tapp created one of the first commercially available kayak-specific drogues. Engineered to maximise efficiency, stability, and safety in real fishing conditions.

Constructed from heavy-duty canvas, this drift chute holds its shape in blustery, choppy conditions where lighter fabrics collapse and lose effectiveness. The stiff 8–10mm rim rope keeps the mouth fully open once deployed, while the large rear float ensures rapid inflation and safe surface positioning — preventing dangerous sinking beneath your kayak.

The sliding stainless steel ring on the bridle allows your kayak to swing naturally side-to-side without collapsing the chute, maintaining consistent drag and reducing drift speed for better bait or lure presentation.
