The Stellar Elite Intermediate (SEI) Surf Ski provides Intermediate paddlers with an all condition boat that has high top-end speeds as well as great stability in rough conditions. Derived from the Stellar Elite Surf Skis, the SEI is also an excellent choice for experienced paddlers looking to refine their technique in heavy seas without losing speed. Other features of the SEI include a narrow catch, low volume footwell and a comfortable seat with a slight curve on the back side. We expect the SEI to set a new standard in the Intermediate surf ski class for speed and stability.

Construction Options:

Advantage: The Advantage construction delivers the perfect balance of weight, stiffness, durability, and value - making it a standout choice for paddlers who want performance without the premium price tag. Built with a heat-cured, infused epoxy Fiberglass laminate and reinforced with a Soric® core, this layup is exceptionally tough and highly resistant to punctures, giving you confidence across a range of conditions. Finished with a durable gelcoat, it’s designed to handle regular use while maintaining solid on-water efficiency. Ideal as a race-ready option on a tighter budget, the Advantage construction hits the sweet spot for price-to-weight ratio, making it one of the most popular choices for paddlers looking to maximise performance per dollar.

Excel: Engineered for speed and efficiency, this ultra-light, high-stiffness construction combines Kevlar® and Fiberglass in a heat-cured epoxy laminate, finished with a durable gelcoat. A Nomex® honeycomb core enhances rigidity while keeping overall weight to a minimum, delivering exceptional on-water performance. Kevlar® reinforcement adds valuable impact strength, making this layup a smart choice for paddlers chasing a lighter, faster ski without sacrificing structural integrity. Ideal for speed or performance-focused paddlers, it offers a responsive, lively feel with every stroke. While prioritising weight savings and speed, this construction is less impact-resistant than the Multi-Sport or Advantage options, making it best suited to paddlers who value performance in cleaner conditions.

Multi Sport: Built for performance and durability, Multi Sport construction features a single-skin laminate hull crafted from premium Carbon and Kevlar® with a clear gelcoat finish. The result is a lightweight yet tough construction that delivers the ideal balance of flex and stiffness - designed to handle real-world paddling conditions with confidence. Whether you’re navigating class I–II rapids, pushing through shallow water, or opening it up on the ocean and flats, this hull is made to perform across environments without compromise.

  • Steering Line - High Strength Spectra Dyneema steering line. No rusting, low stretch for instant response
  • Seating - Ergonomic seat with rounded back, low hump and integrated water-bottle holder and lock bar, fits a wide range of paddlers.
  • Pecked Bow Deck - Peaked deck helps to shed water when in the rough stuff and provides volume to bring the nose back to the surface.
  • Bow and Stern Handles - Low profile carbon carry handles for easy handling to and from the water
  • Low-volume Cockpit - Twin venturis for quick draining and 3 point foot brace for a powerful leg drive. Curved transition from bow deck to cockpit provides stiffness and strength.
  • Under-Stern Rudders - Various sized carbon rudders for efficient steering in any condition.
  • Stability - A little flare above the water-line provides more stability when needed, keeping you paddling on an even keel, with long powerful strokes.
  • Hull Design - The fastest intermediate level surf ski, with a slender entry for low form drag. Amazing flat water speed and a ski that catches runs easily with its cockpit position.
