The Stellar Elite Low (SEL). Starting with the original hull design, the optimized shape has reduced drag of this racing machine, while keeping that loved stability that the SEL has become known for. The overall length has been reduced by 10cm and the rudder and cockpit were moved forward resulting in a more agile SEL, which accelerates quickly and easily catches the bumps.

Increased volume of the boat, the moved bow deck transition to the stern and reduced volume of the cockpit to make this boat truly seaworthy in all ocean conditions and accessible to a wider range of paddlers!

Other features include a rounded seat for a better and more comfortable rotation, a water bottle holder and composite bow and stern handles.

Layup Options:

Excel: Very stiff and light, yet more affordable than the Alpha. Kevlar® adds impact strength to the laminate - Gelcoat finished heat cured epoxy Kevlar® and Fiberglass laminate with Nomex® Honeycomb Core. Great for racing, or those looking for a light boat, but not as impact resistant as the Multi-sport or Advantage constructions.

Alpha (Pre-Order Only): The ultimate racing machine - High modulus, high temperature cured uni-directional carbon fibre for the most advanced and stiffest boat on the market.

MultiSport (Pre-Order Only): Single skin laminate hull made of Carbon & Kevlar® fabric, with clear gelcoat finish, and the deck is the standard Advantage construction. The hull is designed to be flexible and durable, but creates a stiff boat that can take some abuse in the class I and II rapids and shallows, but is also at home in the ocean or the flats. The Surf Ski Multi-Sport construction comes standard with an over-stern rudder and fittings for an under-stern rudder, as well as a flush mounted Andersen Super mini-bailer.

Steering Line - High Strength Spectra Dyneema steering line. No rusting, low stretch for instant response
Seating - Ergonomic seat with rounded back, low hump and integrated water-bottle holder and lock bar, longer cockpit for taller paddlers.
Pecked Bow Deck - Peaked deck helps to shed water when in the rough stuff and provides volume to bring the nose back to the surface, but not too much for reduced windage.
Bow and Stern Handles - Low profile carbon carry handles for easy handling to and from the water
Low-volume Cockpit - Twin venturis for quick draining and 3 point foot brace for a powerful leg drive. Curved transition from bow deck to cockpit provides stiffness and strength.
Under-Stern Rudders - Various sized carbon rudders for efficient steering in any condition.
Low-Volume Cockpit - Venturi bullet bailers make for quick draining of the cockpit when underway or close for flat or cold water paddling
Stability - A little flare above the water-line provides more stability when needed, keeping you paddling on an even keel, with long powerful strokes.
Hull Design - Best speed to stability ratio of any high performance ski, with long and efficient hull lines and slender bow for low drag, for a fast running hull with great glide.
