The Santee 116 Sport is one of our most popular kayaks, with its large open cockpit and lightweight construction. This Santee 116 is ideal for kayakers wanting to use the extra cockpit space for carrying some extra gear (like fishing gear) or even a dog or small child. The Santee 116 is a lightweight thermoformed kayak offering superb tracking for a medium recreational kayak.
The Santee 116 Sport also offers front and rear bulkheads providing plenty of storage and additional buoyancy. The immaculate exterior and padded adjustable seat are standard features of the Hurricane range.
