The Stellar 18’ G2 (S18 G2) is the latest iteration of one of the originals. Known for its great glide, stability and speed, keeping those highlights we tweaked the hull for additional efficiency, stability and capacity.

The S18 G2 shares the same hull and deck as the S18 EXP G2, but one less hatch and bulkhead. The S18 is as at home on flat water eating up the miles as it is in big water providing you confidence to get where you want to. The S18 EXP G2 fits a wide range of paddler builds and has ample cockpit volume for large shoes to fit in.

Layup Options:

Advantage: Great combination of weight, stiffness, durability and cost. Gelcoat finished heat cured infused epoxy Fiberglass and Soric® core laminate is very tough and resists against punctures. A great race boat on a tight budget. The Advantage hits the mark for price to weight ratio for most kayak paddlers.

Excel: Very stiff and light, yet more affordable than the Alpha. Kevlar® adds impact strength to the laminate - Gelcoat finished heat cured epoxy Kevlar® and Fiberglass laminate with Nomex® Honeycomb Core. Great for racing, or those looking for a light boat, but not as impact resistant as the Multi-sport or Advantage constructions.

  • Cockpit: Adjustable padded seat with a water bottle holder. More centralised seat for easier back rolling, padded thigh braces and heel pad.
  • Decks: High volume deck for large feet. Cut-aways on the bow deck for hours of easy paddling. Moulded paddle recess for paddle float rescues
  • Bow & Stern Handles: Ergonomic carry handles for comfortable carry to and from the water
  • Foot Brace: Smart Track Transitional foot brace is easy to adjust in the boat, with responsive steering
  • Storage Compartments: Large stern hatch and medium bow hatch and small day hatch for 3 watertight storage compartments.
  • Smart Track Hybrid Foil Rudder: Easy efficient steering with interchangeable low drag hydrofoil rudder blades.
  • Stability & Speed: I]redesigned efficient hull to increase paddling ease, with full soft chines for stability and security in all conditions
  • Handling: Same great hull of the S18EXP G2, stable, smooth and easy to control without the rubber engaged.
